Versatile, lightweight, and economical, this evaporative air cooler easily rolls from room to room for use anywhere in the home or office. Unlike a fan that blows hot air and more energy efficient than an air conditioner, the appliance uses water to cool a personal space up to 12 degrees lower than the ambient temperature. The air cooler works by endothermic reaction (a reaction that consumes heat). The unit sucks air through a wick saturated with water; as the air flows through the wick, some of the water evaporates into the air, consuming the heat that was in the air. A cool air stream then gets blown out the front of the unit through oscillating louvers for even distribution. The appliance can also be used as just a fan or a humidifier when temperature is not an issue. Easily change the settings with the included remote control. The unit provides an air flow of 23 feet per second, a water-consumption rate of 0.6 to 0.7 liters per hour, and a 10-liter water-tank capacity.
