I am a retired veteran and I purchased the 18K BTU Senville minisplit for use in my newly finished basement. I was very happy with the packaging and the delivery direct to my door. There were no issues and the product was well packed for protection. The installation of the unit went very well and the parts are of good quality from all I can see. The accessories included really allow for a turn key install of this unit. Good job Senville supplying all needed parts. I ran into a little issue with my plan while setting the unit and I contacted technical support for help. I was and still am, pleasantly surprised at the level of care and concern as well as technical expertise that I received help on from the staff. They responded very fast on a follow up inquiry as well. I highly recommend this unit and this company.  Effectiveness and Quietness
This unit is super quiet inside and out. First and foremost. I'm using it to cool a single car (insulated) garage 11W X 19L X 10H in Virginia. It's now August and on a couple of 90 plus days this unit has cooled the space completely off. I set it at about 74 degrees on vertical swing and I was really impressed. I use this garage for my man cave its so cool in there it keeps my wife out lol 🤣. (Added Bonus) like I said super quiet while speaking or watching the game. Truly all you notice is the cold air.
I'm gonna insulate the garage door for the winter to help hold in the heat. So I will give an update on that once the weather breaks. ( No rush).
Insulation I can't fairly judge. A good friend of mines is H-vac tech and we meaning he installed it. It took about 4 hours. Had he not been there I think I would of called some to hook up the 220v line but after seeing it everything else seemed doable.
We also installed the pipe cover and a stand for the unit. I'm very happy this far.

 Great unit! Scheduled delivery was late though.
I have installed 2 18000btu units myself. This is the 2nd purchased one. It came 3 days late due to backlogging with the carrier. Couple calls to Amazon to straighten it out. I am a house painter with zero electrical or hvac experience. I found a couple YouTube videos showing how to hook up the A/C disconnect box and install the breaker. I used 12/3 romex and it only required 12/2. So I cut the white wires at each end clean at the insulation on the wire. Square D 20 amp, 2 pole breaker, rated for 120/240 volts. I left the breaker in the OFF position while popping it into the panel. My pre-charged lines came missing one of the caps on the ends, which was not a problem. The piece you slide into the wall for the lines came cracked, but again not a problem because it's hidden behind indoor unit. Make sure to use at least a 4 inch lineset cover for ease of install. (If you do use one!) I did manage to get a 3 inch to work, but barely! I really did my homework on these things and Mr Cool offered the greatest reviews with the best overall price and energy ratings. The 18k unit cools about 1000 sq ft of my home comfortably. Waiting for winter to test the heating, but I think it will be sufficient.

 Sorta DIY. Great product. Remember to re-flair the line set. Don’t use the factory flared fittings.
Easy installation if your handy. Instructions a little vague but worked. My advise would be to get it to a point you are comfortable with and then ask for help from a pro if needed. You are saving a bunch not getting the pre charged lines of the mr cool units so use that savings to get help if needed. I got mine all hooked up except the breaker box connections and the line set. Cost $150 to have a pro hook it up and professionally leak test it and make sure it was correct. Remember that these line sets need to be re-flared before connecting and torqued to a specific tightness. The factory flares floor the line fittings are junk and WILL leak. The flaring tool and torque wrench will cost as much as a pro that has this stuff and then you had tools that you will most likely will not use again. Totally worth it!!

 Great product for the price.
I purchased this unit to install in my garage, I am an HVAC technician by trade so the install to me was pretty easy all the wiring didn’t confuse me one bit. I can see how this can be a challenge to someone who is not in the trade and doesn’t have the proper tools to do the job. With that being said let’s get into the operation of this system, I’ve only had it up and running for 2 days and I gotta say my garage is like a walk in refrigerator just with this 1 ton wall mount mini split. I live in the high desert so it gets hot during the day and drops down in to the 30s-40s at night, it also performed very well in heating mode heating my garage to 85 degrees in about 20-30 mins which is pretty good. I usually work on Daikin, LG, Mitsubishi, and fujitsu mini splits as those are the big name brands and I would put this right up there with them as far as performance. You really get your bang for your buck on this purchase. The only negative thing right now is the control from the app, it doesn’t have a heat mode in the app unless I’m missing something but I just use the remote to operate it. Overall I would recommend this unit for those looking for a small mini split heat pump.
